Mark Smiley, President/Owner, began his career 27 years ago working for two major manufacturers, Domtar and Jefferson Smurfit Corp, selling paperboard in the Midwest markets. He started Badger Paperboard in 1990 and the company has evolved into a national industry leading supplier for chipboard, cornerboard and slip sheets.
Mark has been married to his wife Julie for 22 years and they have two children Jacob and Kara. They enjoy waterskiing, snowmobiling and spending time in northern Wisconsin.

Chad Kravick, Vice President of Sales, brings over 10 years of outstanding sales experience in the packaging industry working for the largest packaging distribution company in North America. This addition to the sales team creates great new opportunities for Badger Paperboard, and other distributor partners, as Chad offers invaluable experience working within the distributor setting.
Chad, his wife Cindy, and two girls Caitlin and Cailee enjoy spending time together either water skiing, golfing, snowmobiling or relaxing by a nice campfire.

Jeff Gauger knows paperboard with 18 years of experience, with 6 of them at the Badger Paperboard location in Fredonia, WI. As an general manager, Jeff will use his experience to make sure you have just what you need. He specializes in food processing and packaging. Jeff really enjoys announcing boys and girls soccer games at the local high school.

Laurie Fuller is the person who you say, "wears many hats." Laurie excels at customer service. Her dedication of 12 years at the Badger Paperboard location in Fredonia, WI is dedication that the other team members appreciate. Her knowledge is vast and within multiple industries. If the leaves are changing, Laurie is happy as fall is her favorite time of the year.

Renee Kichura joined the Fredonia, WI team over 3 years ago. She enjoys spending time with family, and walking her dog. Renee takes care of all accounts receivables and payables, and assists in customer service support.

Paul Landvatter is the plant supervisor who has managed the plant for the past 3 years, and holds 8 years of experience in the paperboard industry. Paul makes sure your order is in perfect form, and keeps order in the plant. He's a very hands on person with interests that range from working on motorcycles to computers as hobbies.

Gary Doering attends to your needs from the Baraboo, WI office. Gary's dedication to Badger Paperboard and it's customers is running past 9 years. He worked previously for 21 years within various roles in the food industry from manufacturing to purchasing. Gary will work to uncover your needs, and provide the best solutions. Outside of paperboard, Gary is passionate about music. He enjoys anything music related. Catch him singing in two choirs, playing trumpet, and just appreciating all forms of musical entertainment.

Eric Ashenhurst can help with the needs of virtually every industry with his 22 years (since 1989) in the paperboard industry, and a whopping, record breaking 17 years at Badger Paperboard. Eric is located in Steamwood, IL if you're in the area. When Eric isn't working with the browns, greys, whites of paperboard, he opens up a palette of color as an accomplised watercolor artist.

Larry Glen is located in the West Chicago, IL area to help and answer all of your paperboard needs. The longevity at Badger Paperboard continues with Larry as a member of the team for 10 years. His experience to help you extends 29 years in the food industry with duties in several areas of operation (purchasing, distribution, warehousing, package engineering, production scheduling.)

Lauren Kichura "Wetzel" takes care of all the shipping, and trucking logistics. The first voice you hear on the phone may be Lauren. Outside of Badger Paperboard, Lauren enjoys camping with friends and family during her favorite time of year...summer. She also enjoys disc golf, couponing, and far away vacations.
