As you know, we received a very frantic phone call from Rexam late on a Friday afternoon, looking for their chipboard item. This was a critical situation for them, and they were desperate to receive this product on that very day.
My staff spoke with Jenny, and she worked with Laurie Fuller and Bob Bauer. They coordinated an absolutely outstanding effort by your team to open the warehouse (which was closed, and required one of your employees to come in from home); get the product reunitized (so it would fit in the express carrier’s vehicle); and get it loaded so it could be delivered late that day.
We so appreciate the efforts of all involved in responding to Rexam’s situation. Each individual went to great lengths to help, and was willing to do what was necessary to accomplish this, even though it was well outside of standard operating procedure.
